Sweet enthusiasts turned out More Friendly

The more you like sweet foods and drinks, the more likely a "sweet" as well your behavior. At least so the results of recent research findings as quoted huffingtonpost, Monday, October 24, 2011.

The researchers from Gettysburg College, St. Xavier University in Chicago and North Dakota State University found that those who like sweet foods tend to be a volunteer, helping others in need, and more friendly than those who avoid sugary foods.

The study involving 500 people are testing their level of friendliness and kindness. The researchers found that those who chewed a piece of chocolate is more friendly and generally more friendly than those who consume food that is not sweet.

In addition, the scientists also obtain the relationship between the word "sweet" (sweet) which is used to describe someone's personality and propensity to consume foods that taste sweet.

"This is surprising because people who like to help and friendly are considered 'sweet' taste seems to have a relationship with the personality or behavior in general," said Brian Meiers, a professor of psychology at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania.

"Our research on taste is meant to see the positive mood, so that the effects we found are not feeling happy or pleasant feeling of a person after eating sweet foods."

Other research conducted by the same research team showed similar results. The participants in the research were given a neutral facial image of the people. On the part of the image underneath it there is written that the person is like chocolate. "The average person who is associated with sweet foods considered more friendly," said Professor Meiers.

The study, published in the Journal of Personality Social Psychology did not examine the other flavors, such as taste bitter or spicy taste.
